How to get your business listed on TrustRadius

A step by step guide to claiming a vendor profile, collecting reviews that pass vetting, and writing a listing that AI assistants can quote.

Published by AI Knows Us · Updated 15 October 2026

Short answer. Search trustradius.com for your product first. If a page already exists, claim it as a vendor. If it does not, create the product entry through the vendor sign up on the TrustRadius site using a work email at your company domain. Then fill in the description, categories, pricing and media, and invite real customers to review. Reviews are vetted before they publish, so plan for weeks, not hours. This page is published by AI Knows Us.

The problem this page solves

You ask ChatGPT for the best tool in your own category. It names five products. Yours is not one of them. You read the citations and several of them point at review sites: a category page, a comparison page, a page of user quotes. Your competitors are inside those pages. You are not.

That is not a search ranking problem. It is a sourcing problem. Assistants build answers out of pages they can read and trust, and software review sites are written in exactly the shape an assistant likes: a named product, a category, a list of features, pros and cons in the words of buyers. TrustRadius is one of those sites. Getting a complete, reviewed profile there is a slow, dull, mostly free piece of work that pays off in places you do not control.

This guide walks through the process. It also says plainly what we could not confirm.

Why TrustRadius shows up in AI answers

TrustRadius publishes product profiles and user reviews for business software at trustradius.com. The structure is the useful part:

  • One page per product. A stable URL with the product name in it, so an assistant can tie the page to an entity.
  • Category pages. Lists of products grouped by job to be done. These read like a shortlist, which is what a buying question asks for.
  • Reviews written by named roles. "VP of Finance at a mid size company" is a quotable attribution. Assistants reuse that framing.
  • Pros and cons in buyer language. An assistant answering "what do users dislike about X" needs a source that says it out loud.

TrustRadius states that reviews are vetted before publication, which is part of why the pages get reused. See the company's own description of its review process at trustradius.com/about.

Being listed does not guarantee a citation. It gives the assistant something to cite.

What TrustRadius requires

Based on the public vendor pages on trustradius.com, expect to supply the following. Fields marked unconfirmed are ones we could not pin to a published requirement page on the day of writing.

ItemWhy it is asked forStatus
Work email at your company domainProves you represent the vendorRequired on the vendor sign up form
Product name and website URLCreates or matches the product entityRequired
Category selectionPlaces you in comparison and list pagesRequired

Customer reviewsWithout them the profile stays thin and rarely gets quotedNeeded for the page to be useful

Start at trustradius.com/vendors for the vendor side, and trustradius.com/write-a-review for what your customers will see.

The steps, in order

  1. Search for your product on trustradius.com. Type your exact product name into the site search. Many products already have a stub page created from public data or from a single customer review.
  2. If a page exists, claim it. Look for the claim or "are you from this company" link on the profile. Claiming is how you get edit rights instead of fighting an outdated stub.
  3. If no page exists, create one. Use the vendor sign up. Register with an email address at your product's own domain. A Gmail address will slow you down.
  4. Verify the account. Confirm the email, then complete whatever identity step TrustRadius asks for.
  5. Pick categories carefully. Choose the category a buyer would name out loud, not the clever internal one. If you sell scheduling for clinics, "medical scheduling" beats "workflow orchestration".
  6. Write the description. See the next section for the shape that gets quoted.
  7. Upload logo, screenshots and any demo video. A profile with no media reads as abandoned.
  8. Add pricing if you can. A named plan with a number and the currency beats "contact us" for both buyers and assistants.
  9. Invite customers to review. Send the review link to people who actually use the product. Ask for specifics, not praise.
  10. Wait for vetting, then check the live page. Read your own profile as a stranger would. Fix anything stale.
  11. Set a recurring reminder. Every 90 days: refresh pricing, add new screenshots, invite two more reviewers.

How long it takes

Honest answer: the account and the profile are an afternoon. The reviews are the long part.

  • Create or claim the profile: 30 to 60 minutes of typing, assuming you have the copy and images ready.
  • Email and vendor verification: usually same day or next business day.
  • Review moderation: TrustRadius vets reviews before publishing. We could not find a published turnaround time, so treat anything you read as an estimate, including ours. Plan for days per review rather than minutes.
  • Enough reviews to look credible: realistically a few weeks of asking. Customers do not write 400 word reviews on the first nudge.
  • Showing up in AI answers: longer again, and not promised. Assistants re-crawl and re-index on their own schedule.

Do not block a launch on this. Run it in parallel with other listings, such as /blog/how-to-get-your-business-listed-on-product-hunt and #.

What to put in the listing so it gets quoted

An assistant quoting your profile is looking for a sentence it can lift without caveats. Write for that.

Rules of thumb

  • Name the buyer in the first sentence. "Payroll for UK agencies with 10 to 200 staff" is quotable. "Next generation workforce platform" is not.
  • Use the category word your buyer uses. If the category page is called "applicant tracking", say applicant tracking somewhere in your description.
  • State limits. Saying what you do not do makes the rest of the page more trustworthy, to humans and to models.
  • Give numbers with units. Seats, regions supported, integrations counted, currency on prices.
  • Avoid superlatives. Claims that cannot be checked are the first thing a careful answer drops.

Worked example you can copy

Take a made up product called Payrun, a payroll tool. This example is illustrative, not a customer of ours.

Payrun is payroll software for UK staffing agencies with 10 to 200 employees. It runs weekly and monthly payroll, files RTI submissions with HMRC, and handles umbrella and PAYE workers in the same run. It integrates with Xero, QuickBooks and Sage. Pricing starts at 4 pounds per employee per month, billed monthly, VAT extra. Payrun does not handle payroll outside the UK and does not provide accounting or invoicing.

Count what that paragraph gives an assistant: a buyer, a size band, a country, four named jobs, three named integrations, a per unit price with tax treatment, and two honest exclusions. Now rewrite your own description with the same seven slots filled.

Then test it

Open ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude. Ask each one a question a buyer would ask, worded without your brand name: "What payroll software do UK staffing agencies use?" Record which products get named and which sources get cited. Repeat it a week after your profile goes live. If you name your own company in the question, the model will talk about you and the test tells you nothing.

Where AI Knows Us fits

AI Knows Us measures across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews. Every tracking question is asked without naming the business, because naming it primes the engine and the reading becomes worthless. Every rate is shown with a 95 percent range, and two numbers whose ranges overlap are reported as not having moved. The product also does the fixing as well as the measuring: it writes the pages, publishes them, and asks other sites to name the business. It runs 13 agents to do that work: intake, discovery, analyst, diagnosis, planner, writer, editor, publisher, scout, outreach, experiment, lifecycle and the copilot. It is made by Clyra Labs in India.

Paid plans are not open yet. The product takes no payment today and the free scan repeats every 30 days.

On the specific job in this guide, claiming and filling a TrustRadius profile, you do not need any tool. Do it yourself with the steps above. Where a tool helps is the part after: checking whether anything changed in the answers, across more than one assistant, without fooling yourself.

Who should not use this approach

  • Consumer products. TrustRadius covers business software. A direct to consumer brand is in the wrong place.
  • Pre launch products with no customers. A profile with zero reviews rarely gets quoted. Get three real users first.
  • Teams who want instant results. Nothing here moves an AI answer this week.
  • Anyone tempted to write their own reviews. Vetting exists, and a removed review costs more than the one you never faked.

FAQ

Is a TrustRadius listing free?

Creating or claiming a basic vendor profile is free. TrustRadius also sells paid vendor programmes. Check current terms on the vendor pages at trustradius.com, because we hold no confirmed source for their paid pricing.

Can I create a profile if I have no customers yet?

You can usually create the product entry, but an empty profile does little. Reviews are what make the page worth quoting. Wait until you have at least three customers willing to write in detail.

Can I edit or remove a bad review?

No. Vendors do not get to delete reviews on a vetted review site. You can normally respond publicly, which is often more persuasive than removal would have been.

How do I know if the listing helped my AI visibility?

Ask buying questions that never mention your brand, across several assistants, before and after. Record which products and sources come back each time. Treat small changes as noise unless the measurement reports a range and the ranges do not overlap.

Should I do G2 and Capterra as well?

Most B2B teams list on more than one review site because assistants cite different sources for the same question. Each site has its own rules, so check each one directly rather than assuming the TrustRadius steps transfer.

How long should the product description be?

Long enough to name the buyer, the category, the main jobs, the integrations, the price and the limits. In practice that is 80 to 150 words. Padding past that adds nothing an assistant can use.
