Best influencer analytics and influencer tracking tools compared, on the limit that sets each tier
Analytics judges a creator before you pay. Tracking watches the content after you do. Both are priced on a number most vendors bury and one publishes plainly
Published by AI Knows Us · Updated 22 October 2026
These are two jobs with one shortlist, which is why they belong on one page. Analytics is what you do before money moves: audience geography, authenticity, engagement rate against a benchmark. Tracking is what you do after: did the content go up, did it stay up, what did it do.
Most vendors sell both and price them on two different numbers, and those two numbers are the whole purchase.
The criterion
Tools are ranked on what each vendor publishes about the limit that sets each tier, because it is checkable before a demo and it is the ceiling you hit in month two. Where a vendor's page could not be read, that is reported as a reading failure rather than treated as an absence.
First, Modash, which publishes both numbers
Read on modash.io/pricing on 21 October 2026, Modash publishes two paid tiers with full numeric limits.
- Essentials, $199 a month or $2,388 a year, described as "For campaigns with up to 100 creators". 2 team members. 300 opened profiles a month, which is the analytics limit. 100 tracked creators' content, which is the tracking limit. 150 unlocked creator emails a month. 3,000 influential fans a month.
- Performance, $499 a month or $5,988 a year. 5 seats. 800 opened profiles a month. 250 tracked creators' content. 400 unlocked emails a month. 6,000 influential fans.
- Enterprise, from $14,700 a year, described as "For campaigns above 250 creators", with the numbers customisable and not published.
It ranks first on this criterion because the analytics ceiling and the tracking ceiling are separately published with numbers against them, which is rare here. One detail that matters more than it looks: its own FAQ describes tracked creators as the maximum monitored at one time rather than per month, so the 100 on Essentials is a concurrent cap, not a monthly allowance. That distinction decides whether a programme running four waves a year fits inside a tier.
Second, GRIN, which publishes volume and gates the export
Read on grin.co/pricing on 21 October 2026, GRIN publishes a ladder set by creator searches a month: Free at $0 with 1,200 searches, Starter at $200 with 12,000, Growth at $500 with 36,000 and Scale at $1,500 with 120,000. The page notes search limits are counted in result pages at about twelve creators per page, and states that pricing is "Not priced per seat". The Free tier also carries a 20 percent management fee on wallet deposits.
What it gates rather than caps is the thing to know. Exporting creator lists and contact emails is excluded on Free and included on every paid tier. So GRIN's free plan is a genuine analytics allowance and not a tracking or outreach one.
It ranks second because the published limit is search volume rather than tracked content, which is the analytics side only.
Third, HypeAuditor, on what renders rather than what is claimed
HypeAuditor is the best known pure play in creator analytics and the honest entry here is a limitation. Its platform pages state a "227M+ database with 35+ filters" and publish free single account audit tools for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, which are genuinely useful for screening one or two creators. But on 21 October 2026 its pricing page served to this request carried no plan table at all. So its tier limits are not published to that fetch and are not quoted here, which is a different statement from saying they do not exist.
The vendors that could not be read, stated rather than omitted
On 21 October 2026, upfluence.com/pricing and heepsy.com/pricing returned 403 and aspire.io/pricing returned 404. Three further platforms in this category render a contact form in place of a price. A blocked or missing page is evidence about a server, not about a product, so none of them is ranked above or below the three named here. If one of them is on your shortlist, the question to ask on the call is the same one this page ranks on: how many profiles may we open a month, and how many creators' content may we track at once.
What to buy, in one decision
- Screening a handful of creators. Use the free single account checkers. No subscription answers this better.
- Judging fifty creators a month before paying them. Buy on the opened profiles number.
- Watching a standing roster's posts. Buy on the tracked content number, and confirm whether it is concurrent or monthly, because the two differ by a factor of several for a seasonal programme.
- Both at volume. You are in the tier where the ladder gets steep, and the annual commitment is where the negotiation is.
The measurement none of these tools reports
Every number in this comparison is about a creator's audience or a post's performance, on the premise that a person reads the post. The vendors themselves have begun selling against that premise. Later publishes a product it calls Creator AEO, listed in its influencer marketing navigation as "Get cited in AI search", whose page states "Less than 10% of what AI says about your brand comes from content you own" and offers to baseline what assistants say across "ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI Overviews". impact.com carries a platform navigation item called "AI product", described as "Discover, optimize, and get cited in AI search". Both read 21 October 2026, and neither publishes a price for it.
They are pointing at a figure none of the tools above can show you, which is whether your brand gets named when a buyer asks an assistant what to buy. AI Knows Us reports exactly that, across all five surfaces including Perplexity, and publishes what it costs. Read on https://www.aiknowsus.com/pricing on 23 October 2026, Growth is $299 a month for 100 buyer questions watched and 1,200 scheduled answers a month; a Claude check costs three credits where most cost one, stated on that page as "A Claude check uses 3, because Claude costs us more to run". The pricing page sets Growth at 1,200 scheduled answers a month. The $149 SEO Start plan publishes zero questions, zero credits and zero engines. It analyses no creators, so it adds a number beside these tools rather than replacing any of them.
