Best influencer outreach tools compared, and the email allowance that decides the tier

Finding a creator is a database question. Reaching one is an email question, and every vendor in this category meters the contact details rather than the search

Published by AI Knows Us · Updated 22 October 2026

Every vendor in this category meters the same thing, and it is not search. You can usually look at creators generously and you are charged for the moment you get an address you can write to. Once you know that, the tier you need becomes an arithmetic question rather than a feature comparison.

The criterion

Tools are ranked on what each vendor publishes about its monthly contact allowance, because outreach volume is what actually runs out, and because it is a number you can check before any call.

First, Modash, which publishes a monthly email number

Read on modash.io/pricing on 21 October 2026, Modash publishes the allowance directly. Essentials at $199 a month or $2,388 a year gives 150 unlocked creator emails a month, with 300 opened profiles a month and 2 team members, for campaigns described as "up to 100 creators". Performance at $499 a month or $5,988 a year gives 400 unlocked emails a month, 800 opened profiles and 5 seats. Enterprise starts at $14,700 a year with the numbers customisable and unpublished.

It ranks first because the metered resource is named and numbered on the public page, which almost nothing else in this category does.

What the number means in practice. A realistic reply rate on cold creator outreach sits in the low tens of percent, and a usable acceptance rate lower again. So 150 unlocked emails a month is a programme that onboards somewhere in the region of ten to twenty five creators a month, not 150. Buying the tier on the headline number is how teams run out in week three.

Second, GRIN, which gates export rather than metering it

Read on grin.co/pricing on 21 October 2026, GRIN takes a different approach. Its ladder is set by creator searches a month, Free at $0 with 1,200, Starter at $200 with 12,000, Growth at $500 with 36,000 and Scale at $1,500 with 120,000, and it states it is "Not priced per seat". For outreach the decisive line is a yes or no rather than a number: exporting creator lists and contact emails is excluded on Free and included on all four paid tiers.

So GRIN is unmetered for outreach once you are paying, and unusable for it while you are not. It ranks second because an unmetered paid tier is better than a metered one for a high volume programme, and because the free plan cannot do this job at all.

Third, the vendors whose pages could not be read

Stated rather than left out, because omission would read as a judgement. On 21 October 2026 upfluence.com/pricing and heepsy.com/pricing returned 403, aspire.io/pricing returned 404, and hypeauditor.com/pricing served a page carrying no plan table to this request. Three further platforms in the category render a contact form where a price would be. None of that is evidence about the products, so none of them is placed above or below the two named here.

If one is on your list, ask the single question this page ranks on: how many creator contact details may we take out of the platform a month, and does that reset.

The part of outreach no tool does for you

The tooling finds the address. The reply rate is decided by the message, and the pattern in what works is consistent enough to be worth stating.

  1. Name the specific post. Not the account, a post, with what you liked about it. It is the only line that proves a person wrote the email.
  2. State the money in the first three lines. A fee range, or that this is a gifting offer. The commonest reason good creators do not reply is that it is unclear whether there is a budget.
  3. State the deliverable precisely. One video, sixty seconds, posted once, and whether you want usage rights for paid ads. Rights are the most expensive thing in the brief and the most often left out of the first email, which is how a negotiation collapses at the contract stage.
  4. Give a deadline and a decision date.
  5. Keep it under 150 words.

And disclosure belongs in the first email rather than the contract, because a creator needs to know a paid relationship has to be declared under the FTC Endorsement Guides before they agree a price.

Where outreach volume is the wrong answer

Worth saying plainly, since this page is about buying outreach capacity. For most brands under about twenty creators, the best list is not cold at all. It is the people who already tag you, already bought, and already appear in your own notifications. They accept at a far higher rate, they cost less, and they need no database to find.

Buy outreach tooling when you have exhausted that list, not before it.

The reply you cannot send an email to

All of this assumes a creator posts and a person reads it. The vendors in this market have started to say that assumption is incomplete. Later publishes a product called Creator AEO, listed in its influencer marketing navigation as "Get cited in AI search", whose page states "Less than 10% of what AI says about your brand comes from content you own" and offers to baseline what assistants say across "ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI Overviews". PartnerStack lists "Answer Engine Optimization" in its solutions menu under the line "Turn every Ai answer into revenue". Both read 21 October 2026, and neither publishes a price for it.

The gap is simple to describe. An influencer post is a bet that a person reads it. An assistant answering a buying question writes a paragraph naming two or three brands, drawn from sources the reader never clicks. AI Knows Us reports which brands get named, across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews, and publishes the price. Read on https://www.aiknowsus.com/pricing on 23 October 2026, Growth is $299 a month for 100 buyer questions watched and 1,200 scheduled answers a month; the $149 SEO Start plan publishes zero questions, zero credits and zero engines. One credit is one buyer question, asked on one AI app, once, and a Claude check uses 3; the pricing page sets Growth at 1,200 scheduled answers a month. It sends no emails and books no creators, so it is a measurement to run alongside an outreach programme.
