Peec AI vs Scrunch AI: the two vendors that publish how many AI answers a month you get, counted two different ways
One publishes the multiplication, the other publishes the result. Both pricing documents read 20 October 2026, both HTTP 200.

Choose Peec AI if you want to size the purchase yourself, because its pricing page publishes the prompt count, the model count, the refresh cadence and the multiplication that turns them into monthly AI answers. Choose Scrunch AI if you want the finished figure and some site side work with it, because its entry tier publishes 125 unique prompts and 5,000 responses a month alongside five site audits. These are the only two documents in this category we have read that put an answer count in front of a buyer at all, and the difference in how they do it tells you which one fits the way your team buys.
The unit each one publishes
Peec's pricing page carries a coverage panel whose fields are available models, prompts, active models, frequency, countries, projects, languages, and then monthly AI answers, described on the page as "calculated by multiplying tracked prompts by active models and tracking frequency". Its three buyable tiers publish 50, 150 and 350 prompts, "Choose 3 models", unlimited users, daily tracking frequency, and 1, 2 and 5 projects. Its enterprise tier publishes fully customisable prompt tracking, a choice from all models, daily or weekly frequency, unlimited projects, API access, single sign on and up to 13 LLM models tracked. Its own FAQ has previously stated that each prompt runs once every 24 hours on every model you select.
Scrunch publishes the product of that sum instead. Its Core tier reads "125 unique prompts" and "5,000 responses / month" on the same card, with five site audits a month, one brand workspace, five user licences and four LLMs supported, named as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Copilot. Its enterprise tier reads custom prompts, custom responses a month, nine LLMs named as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Meta AI, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Copilot and Grok, plus an agent experience platform, API access, SSO with SAML and OIDC and a dedicated account team.
Both routes are honest and they suit different readers. The multiplication lets you model a tier you have not bought. The finished number lets you compare one quote with another without doing any arithmetic at all. Ask each company for the other form, and you have two quotes in the same units.
What our own readings say about the two names
On 16 October 2026 we put 630 buying questions to ChatGPT and Gemini across the United States, the United Kingdom and India, took 1,260 readings and saved the answer text. Counting one naming per reading, Peec AI appeared in the answer text of 198 readings and Scrunch AI in 21.
207 readings named at least one. 12 named both in the same answer, 186 named Peec alone and 9 named Scrunch alone. So a buyer who assembled this shortlist did it from reading product pages rather than from asking an assistant, because the assistants almost never put these two together.
The size of the gap between 198 and 21 is a fact about how much of the web repeats a name. Our own name appeared in zero of the same 1,260 readings, which is the plainest illustration available of what a mention count measures. A name in answer text is also a separate event from a domain in a source list, and the two are never added together here.
The criterion this page uses
We build a product in the same category and we have run no head to head test of either of these, so there is no score here. The criterion is what each company publishes about the size of what it sells, in the units it chooses, on a stated date. On this pair that is unusually productive, because both companies answer the question and no two documents in this category answer it the same way.
The two entry tiers side by side
| Field | Peec AI, Starter | Scrunch AI, Core |
|---|---|---|
| Prompts | 50 | 125 unique prompts |
| Models or engines | Choose 3 models | 4 LLMs: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Copilot |
| Cadence | Daily tracking frequency | Not stated on the tier card; the response count is the stated limit |
| Answers a month | Derived on the page from prompts, models and frequency | Published directly: 5,000 responses a month |
| Users | Unlimited users | 5 user licences |
| Projects or workspaces | 1 project | 1 brand workspace |
| Site side work | Not on the tier card | 5 site audits a month |
| Top tier engine count | Up to 13 LLM models tracked | 9 LLMs, each named |
| Free start | Sign up on the published tiers | A 7 day free trial |
Neither company's figures are reproduced. We record what sets a tier and send you to the vendor's own page for the money, because a restated price goes stale into a false statement about another company.
The decision this actually comes down to
Both tiers are sized for one brand. Peec's entry tier gives you fewer prompts on fewer models with unlimited logins, so the constraint is the question set and the team is free. Scrunch's gives you more prompts and a hard response ceiling with five licences, so the constraint is who gets a login and how much running the set costs against the ceiling.
Then there is the half that is not measurement at all. Scrunch's own navigation names agent pages, agent traffic and site optimisation beside monitoring and citations, and its entry tier includes site audits. Peec's tier cards are about tracking and reporting, with a Looker Studio integration appearing at the third tier and multi country at the same step. If you have writers and a developer and need numbers, Peec's shape fits. If the gap is that nobody has looked at what an AI agent fetches from your site, Scrunch's shape fits.
Whatever you buy, fix the term before the feature list. Both companies sell monthly on their published tiers and annually at enterprise, and how long to commit to AI visibility work and when the first honest reading arrives sets out why the first date you can read a result matters more than the discount on a longer term.
Who each one suits
- A team that has to justify the spend internally. Peec publishes the arithmetic, so you can put the answer count in the memo before anybody books a call.
- A team that wants one number to compare quotes. Scrunch publishes 5,000 responses a month on a tier you can start on a seven day trial.
- More than five people needing logins. Peec publishes unlimited users on every tier. Scrunch publishes five licences on Core and a custom number on enterprise.
- Buyers using Claude, Gemini or Grok. Scrunch names nine LLMs including Claude, Gemini, Meta AI and Grok on enterprise, and four on Core. Peec offers a choice of three models on its published tiers and up to thirteen on enterprise. Ask which models are in the tier you are quoted.
- Several brands or clients. Peec publishes 1, 2 and 5 projects across its tiers and a separate agency route. Scrunch publishes one brand workspace on Core. Price the second brand before buying the first.
Questions buyers ask when choosing between Peec AI and Scrunch AI
Which one tells me how many AI answers I get?
Both, in different forms. Peec publishes the multiplication of prompts by models by frequency on its pricing page. Scrunch publishes 5,000 responses a month directly on its Core tier. Ask each for the other form and the two quotes become comparable.
Does a repeat of the same prompt consume a unit?
This is the question that causes most surprises in this category, so get it answered in writing from either company. Peec's published cadence is daily on its buyable tiers, which means each prompt on each selected model produces a fresh answer every day, and that is the number the allowance is really about.
Why do assistants mention Peec so much more often?
Our run counted 198 readings naming Peec and 21 naming Scrunch. Mention frequency follows how widely a name is repeated online, not product capability, and both numbers sit beside our own count of zero in the same 1,260 readings.
Do I need the site audit side at all?
Only if nobody has checked what your site serves to a crawler. If that has never been looked at, it is worth settling before paying for measurement, because a monitoring number cannot tell you that the page an assistant wanted was unreadable.
Why does this page carry no prices?
We record prices and do not restate them, competitors' included. Both companies publish their own, which stay current, and a copy here would be a claim about somebody else's business that we had stopped checking.
The one field to carry into both calls
Write down the number of saved AI answers a month, on named engines, at a stated refresh rate, and make both companies fill it in. Everything else on a pricing page is a route to that figure. We take those readings for a living and publish the denominators behind ours, including the ones that did not flatter us, because an answer count without a date and a denominator is a number nobody can check.
