Understand gaps and their causes

The Gap diagnosis agent names one cause for each question you miss and ranks the fixes. Here is what each cause means.

Steps

  1. After running checks, open Gaps and press Diagnose from latest checks.

  2. Each gap shows a priority (P1 is most urgent), a cause, the question, the AI apps you were missing on, who was named instead, and the sources cited.

  3. No page answers this: you have no page that answers the question directly. Plan a page.

  4. Your page is too thin: a page exists but lacks checkable facts, structure or freshness. Rewrite it.

  5. Missing from sources AI apps read: AI apps cite lists or reviews that name others, not you. Press Get listed.

  6. Too few outside signals: AI apps prefer businesses with more reviews, listings or media mentions.

  7. AI apps get you wrong: AI apps mix you up with something else or state wrong facts. Fix the facts on your own site first.

  8. Not a fit for this question: you do not honestly fit it. Consider pausing or deleting the question.

  9. Press Plan pages for these gaps to send open gaps to the content planner. Press Mark done when a gap is handled, or Reopen to bring it back.

Tips

  • Questions where AI apps used thin or generic sources come first, because they are usually the easiest to win.
  • AI apps get you wrong is urgent. A wrong price or wrong service in an AI answer can cost you customers.
