Write good buyer questions
These are the questions we ask the AI apps. Keep them blind, write them like a buyer, and sort them into topics, which controls cost and keeps the reporting readable.
Steps
Open Questions. It shows how many of your plan's questions you are using.
Open Add a question in your own words, then type them in Your questions, one per line, the way a buyer would type them.
Pick a Topic, or type a new one. Questions in the same topic are counted together on the board above.
Under How often we check this, choose Every week, Every month or Every three months.
Press Add these questions. Adding one costs nothing, and the next check reads it.
Tips
- The blind rule: never put your brand name in a tracking question. If you ask about your brand, the AI app talks about you because you asked, and the result tells you nothing.
- A question that names your brand is tracked separately, and not counted in your score.
- Add context buyers really give: city, team size, budget, industry, language.
- Keep Every week for a small share of your questions, about 15%, the buying questions you can realistically win.
- Naming a competitor is fine in comparison and alternatives questions, because buyers do that.
