Alternatives to Infidigit, and the one check to run on any firm that publishes an llms.txt
Infidigit publishes a machine readable index of itself, which puts it ahead of most of this field. On 20 October 2026 that file and its own home page gave different headcounts, and that is the single most common and most fixable defect in this category, including on our own site.
Published by AI Knows Us · Updated 20 October 2026
Infidigit appeared inside the markdown bold these engines use to mark a recommendation in 15 of 420 India readings dated 16 October 2026. If you are weighing it against an alternative, the check worth running first is not on the recommendation. It is on whether the firm's own documents agree with each other, because the document a machine reads and the page a person reads are not always the same document. Read on 20 October 2026, Infidigit serves an llms.txt at the root of its domain, which most firms in this category do not. On the same day, that file described the team as 150 plus experts while the home page said 180 plus. Nothing there is dishonest. It is the ordinary result of two documents being updated on different days, and it is exactly the kind of thing an assistant repeats.
What Infidigit publishes about itself, read on 20 October 2026
It describes itself as an AI powered digital growth partner, states more than 100 awards and runs its own platform, Infigrowth. Its navigation covers organic search, conversion and app store work, with named service pages for AI SEO and LLM SEO, and industry pages including banking and financial services, ecommerce, education technology, business to business and law firms. It publishes plans pages for most service lines, free tools including a rank checker and schema generators, and cumulative results figures covering organic sessions, clicks and user acquisition.
Three of those are genuine strengths. Plans pages mean a buyer starts from a scope rather than a discovery call. Free tools mean the firm is confident enough to give something away. And an llms.txt is a deliberate decision to be readable by machines, which is what this category is about. For marking the rest of a proposal, the ten line evidence sheet is in how to read the evidence a GEO agency shows you.
The check, and how to run it in ten minutes on any supplier
A machine readable index is only as good as its agreement with the site around it. Run these five comparisons on any firm that publishes one, including on your own business.
- Headcount and scale. Compare the number in the file with the number on the home page and the about page. On Infidigit's site on 20 October 2026 these gave 150 plus and 180 plus respectively.
- The service list. Every service named in the file should have a live page, and every service with a page should be in the file.
- Prices or plans. Any figure in the file should appear on the pricing page, with the same units.
- The entity. The legal name, the registration and the location should be in the file, because that is what an assistant repeats when asked who a company is.
- Length. A file at that path is meant to be a short index. Infidigit's ran to 11,560 lines on that date, closer to a site export than an index. Ours ran to 34. Neither length is wrong by any rule, and the question is whether anybody can still check the facts inside it.
The first comparison catches the most problems, and the fix is clerical: pick one number, put it in both places, and add the file to whatever list reminds somebody to update the home page.
We ran the same check on our own file, and ours is incomplete
A page that asks this of somebody else has to answer it. Read on 20 October 2026, our own llms.txt carries eight rupee figures and our pricing page served twelve. Every figure in our file appears on the pricing page, so none of it is wrong, and four published tiers are missing from the file a machine reads. That is an omission rather than a disagreement, and it is the same family of defect. We record it here with the date rather than quietly fixing it, because a page arguing for checkable facts cannot hold somebody else's site to a standard it has not measured itself against.
Two more things we measured on this domain, both dated
The .in resolves to the .com. Fetched on 20 October 2026, infidigit.in redirected to www.infidigit.com in one hop. One business, one canonical home, and a buyer or a machine arriving at either name reaches the same place. That is the tidy answer to a question several Indian firms answer differently.
A 403 is not a refusal. On the same day, infidigit.com returned HTTP 403 to one browser identity and HTTP 200 to another, and the body behind the 403 read "Checking your browser", which is a protection challenge rather than an access decision. We say so because it would be easy and wrong to report a 403 as a site blocking readers. Read the body behind a status code before concluding anything from it, and try a second identity.
Who the alternatives are, by what you actually need
| If your brief is | Look for | The question that separates candidates |
|---|---|---|
| Organic search at scale on a large Indian site | Another large Indian search firm with an enterprise page and published plans | Who is on the account, and what the minimum term is |
| A regulated industry such as banking or insurance | A firm with a named industry page and a compliance review process | Who signs off copy, and how long that takes |
| The AI visibility layer on its own | A measurement product, or a specialist that refuses the adjacent work | The question set, the engines named one by one, who keeps the raw log |
| A tool rather than a team | A self serve platform | Whether the engine list in your tier matches the engines your customers use |
Those are four different purchases, and the six questions that sort one kind of Indian supplier from another are in six questions that tell you which kind to hire.
A separate count, over the same readings, of whose pages were used as sources
This is a different question with its own number, and nothing here adds the two counts, averages them or reads one as a version of the other. In the source lists of those same 420 India readings, infidigit.com appeared in 1. Of the 15 readings that named the firm, 13 were Gemini and 2 were ChatGPT, from 210 questions put to each engine in that market.
Where we come into this, and where Infidigit is stronger than we are
We sell an AI visibility product and compete for part of the same Indian budget, which belongs beside anything we say about the firm. Across all 1,260 readings of that run, the count of readings in which AI Knows Us appeared inside the recommendation bold is nil. In a separate count, our domain appeared in the source list of 6, and in India that is 2 of the 210 ChatGPT readings and 0 of the 210 on Gemini.
Infidigit is ahead of us on real things. It staffs a delivery team in India that will do the work, including development and design, which we do not sell. It publishes industry pages for regulated sectors where copy approval is the hard part. It gives away free tools. And its machine readable index, for all that one figure in it is out of step, exists at all, which puts it in a small minority. Our own criterion is narrow and we state it as narrow: what a buyer can verify before paying, which is why our figures and our own incomplete file are both on this page.
Questions about Infidigit and the alternatives to it
Does a mismatched number mean a firm is careless?
No. It means two documents were updated on different days, which happens to every growing business. It matters here only because assistants read the file and repeat what is in it, so the cost of the mismatch is borne where nobody is looking.
Should my business publish an llms.txt?
It is cheap and reasonable. Keep it short, keep the entity facts and the service list in it, and put it on the same update list as your home page. A file that drifts is worse than no file.
Is a very long one a problem?
Not by any rule. The practical test is whether a person can still read it and check the facts inside it. If nobody can, nobody will, and that is how a figure sits out of step for months.
What should I ask before buying published plans?
What is excluded, what is billed separately, whether taxes are included, and the minimum term. A published plan is a starting scope and the exclusions are where the real shape of it lives.
How do I compare a firm's cumulative results figures?
Ask for the window and the number of clients behind the figure, then ask for one account where the work moved nothing. A cumulative total across many years and many clients is a size claim rather than a performance claim, and the firm will usually say so if you ask.
The ten minutes to spend before your first call
Open the supplier's llms.txt, then its home page, and compare the headcount, the service list and any figure in both. Do the same on your own site before you judge anybody else's, because we did and found ours incomplete. Whichever firm you hire, the habit is the deliverable: one set of facts, in both the document people read and the document machines read, with a date on it.
