Best AI marketing platforms compared, ranked on what each vendor publishes that a buyer can check
Four very different products are sold as an AI marketing platform, and they do not compete with each other. Here is the split, what each one publishes about its own limits, and where we come first and where we do not.
Published by AI Knows Us · Updated 22 October 2026
"AI marketing platform" covers four products that do completely different jobs, and a shortlist that mixes them is comparing a writing tool with a measurement tool. Split them first and the decision gets easy.
The four kinds, with what each one published on 21 October 2026
One, the AI content and campaign platform. It writes and adapts marketing content at scale. Jasper, read at jasper.ai, leads with "Put AI agents to work for marketing" and now carries its own "GEO & AI Optimization" line promising to "measure how your brand performs across every major AI answer engine, prioritize the actions that matter, and ship brand-governed content at scale". No price rendered on the home page.
Two, the AI layer inside a marketing suite you already pay for. HubSpot's marketing automation page, read at hubspot.com/products/marketing/marketing-automation, lists Smart CRM, an Agent Hub for "building and managing AI agents across the platform", and "AEO (Beta) Answer engine optimization tools that track and improve" visibility. Semrush, now an Adobe company per its own news page at semrush.com/news, carries AI visibility, prompt research and AI brand sentiment inside its suite, listed at semrush.com/features.
Three, the answer engine measurement platform. This is the one most buyers mean when the search is recent. Profound calls itself "The AI marketing platform to win in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, DeepSeek, Google AI Overviews" at tryprofound.com, with Monitor, Answer Engine Insights, Prompt Volumes, Shopping Agent Analytics, an AI Marketer and a Context Manager. Peec AI, at peec.ai, reports "Trusted by 3500+ brands and agencies" and offers MCP plus a REST API. Rankscale, Ahrefs Brand Radar, SE Ranking's AI Search Toolkit and Moz's AI search and visibility product all sit here too.
Four, the AI data and intelligence platform. Similarweb lists AI Citation Analysis, AI Prompt Analysis, AI Sentiment Analysis and traffic trackers for ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Grok, Gemini and Deepseek at similarweb.com/corp/pricing, which rendered no price at all in its first response that day.
The criterion, applied to everybody including us
This is our own category, so the ranking has to be on something a buyer can verify rather than on our opinion. The criterion: does the vendor publish, where a crawler and a buyer can both read it without a sales call, both its price and the limit that sets each tier?
Measured that way on 21 October 2026, the order was:
1. AI Knows Us. Price and limits together in a server rendered plain text file, in three currencies, with the questions watched, credits, engines and check cadence named for every one of the eight tiers. We could not find a second vendor doing all of that.
2. Ahrefs Brand Radar. Prices and limits both on the page, with the per engine cost stated in words and an overage rate. It beats us on surfaces counted, seven to five, and on disclosing unit economics.
3. Rankscale. Credit allowances, brand dashboard counts, page audit counts and eight named engines are all published. Marked down because every numeric cell of its comparison matrix renders as 0 in the first response, with the real figures only on the plan cards, so a machine reading that table gets nothing.
4. Peec AI. Clear plan limits, "50 prompts" on the entry tier, "150 prompts", "350 prompts", "Choose 3 models", unlimited users, daily tracking, with no price rendered in the first response.
5. Profound. Publishes a free trial limit, "50 prompts run daily for 7 days" on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, and "400 credits per month per client workspace" on its self serve agency plan, with enterprise custom. It beats us outright on two things we do not sell: "Up to 9 Answer Engines tracked" and "SSO/SAML + SOC 2 compliance".
6. Similarweb and Semrush. Capability lists are extensive and no price is rendered on the pages we read.
Being first on disclosure is not being best at everything, and the two paragraphs above say exactly where we are behind.
What we actually do, stated plainly
AI Knows Us measures five surfaces: ChatGPT and Gemini through the real apps via a third party data provider, Perplexity through the official Perplexity Agent API, Claude through the official Anthropic API with live web search, and Google AI Overviews through a licensed search results provider. We report whether a business is named, who was named instead, and which domains were cited, then run the content and placement work that changes it. We publish a visibility API on the GEO Scale and Everything tiers.
We do not write your campaigns, run your email, buy your media or manage your CRM. If that is what you need from an "AI marketing platform", buy from category one or two above.
A credit is one buyer question put to one app once. A Claude check costs three credits because the Anthropic API with live web search is the expensive one; most checks cost one.
Our ladder is published as plain text at aiknowsus.com/llms.txt, readable without JavaScript. Read on 21 October 2026: SEO Start $149 a month with no buyer questions watched, Growth $299 with 100 buyer questions watched, 1,200 scheduled answers a month and five engines, SEO Scale $699, Scale $599 with 300 questions and 3,500 scheduled answers, Inbound $1,099 with 200 questions, Outbound $1,299 with 30 questions and four engines, Agency $1,299 with 80 questions and 12,300 credits, Everything $1,799 with 300 questions and 3,600 scheduled answers. A 1,000 credit top up is $49 and $149 is the published United States floor. Managed GEO is listed at Rs 88,499 to Rs 2,35,999 a month with a three month minimum and published in rupees only, so we quote the rupee figure rather than converting it.
A correction about our own site, 21 October 2026. An earlier version of this page said the pricing page converts currency in the browser, so a crawler would see only rupees. A crawler request that day returned both ladders in one server-rendered response: 24 dollar figures and 31 rupee figures in the visible text. The plain text file is the server rendered source for a dollar figure.
Two rules sit behind every rate we publish: the buyer question never names the business being measured, and every rate carries a 95 percent Wilson interval so a move inside the noise is reported as noise.
Where rivals publish more than we do, read on 21 October 2026: Ahrefs Brand Radar names seven surfaces against our five at ahrefs.com/brand-radar and publishes its own unit cost, "Claude consumes 8 checks per update", with overage at $0.020 a check. Rankscale names eight engines at rankscale.ai/pricing. Profound publishes "Up to 9 Answer Engines tracked" and "SSO/SAML + SOC 2 compliance" at tryprofound.com/pricing. Our rendered pricing text carries no single sign on, no white label, no SOC 2, no ISO and no data processing agreement, and every plan is one login covering one business except Agency.
Our evidence page, aiknowsus.com/proof, carries Search Console exports. The aiknowsus figure on it is a discovery result rather than a traffic result, and the two domains on that page are reported separately.
For the agency version of this purchase rather than the software version, see the three different things sold as an artificial intelligence marketing agency. No other page on this site links to that one, measured across the 2,017 of 2,082 live pages whose text we can read, on 21 October 2026.
What buyers ask about AI marketing platforms
Can one platform do content and measurement? Jasper and HubSpot are both moving that way. The thing to check is whether the measurement is run on questions that do not contain your brand name, because that single detail decides whether the report means anything.
How many engines do I actually need watched? The ones your buyers use. Counting nine is a bigger number than counting five and only matters if your buyers are on the extra four.
What is the cheapest honest way to start? A small, fixed list of real buyer questions, asked blind, on the two or three apps your buyers use, repeated on a schedule so you have a series rather than a snapshot.
