What Moz Local and the Moz API cost, and the Moz product a Singapore business cannot buy at any price
Three Moz Local tiers and seven Moz API volumes read on 26 October 2026, plus the one line on the vendor page that lists availability as the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
Published by AI Knows Us · Updated 26 October 2026
Moz Local is sold in three tiers, and on 26 October 2026 its own pricing page listed them at $20, $30 and $40 US dollars a month, falling to $16, $24 and $33 a month when billed yearly at $199, $299 and $399. Directly under the product description on that page sits one line a Singapore buyer needs before any of those figures matter: "Moz Local is available in:", followed by three country flags. The markup behind them names the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Singapore is not one of them.
So for a business listing a Singapore address, the price of Moz Local is not the question. The question is what to buy instead, and that answer is further down this page. The Moz API is a different story: it is sold by rows of data rather than by country, and a Singapore team can use it the same way a team anywhere else can.
Moz Local, as published on 26 October 2026
| Tier | Monthly, USD | Yearly, per month | Billed yearly | Listings AI add-on | Reviews AI add-on |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | $20 | $16 | $199 | $14 a month, or $119 a year | Not listed on this tier |
| Preferred | $30 | $24 | $299 | $14 a month, or $119 a year | $10 a month, or $69 a year |
| Elite | $40 | $33 | $399 | Included in the package | $10 a month, or $69 a year |
The page advertises a 20 per cent saving for paying yearly, and prints the cash saving per tier as $41, $61 and $81 a year. Lite carries the local grid for map pack ranking, distribution to what the vendor describes as more than 90 listing directories, review monitoring, data health analytics and 24 hour support. Preferred adds review responding, sentiment analysis, social posting to Google and Facebook, social analytics and competitor tracking. Elite adds posting to Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok, ad boosting on Facebook and custom reporting, and bundles the Listings AI add-on, which the page says saves $19 a year against buying Preferred plus the add-on separately.
Why the country list is the whole decision here
Listing management is a distribution product. What you are paying for is a pipe into a set of directories, aggregators and data partners in a named market, so a tool that is available in three countries is a tool that has built pipes into three countries. That is not a flaw in the product. It is the product working exactly as scoped, in markets that are not this one.
A Singapore business that buys it anyway is paying a monthly fee for distribution into American, Canadian and British directories that no Singapore buyer consults, and the surfaces that actually decide whether somebody walks into the shop sit elsewhere. Which of those surfaces is the right one depends on what you sell, and our page on Shopee, Lazada and Carousell against Google for a Singapore business settles that split: a product with a comparable price belongs on the marketplaces, a service that has to be explained belongs in search. Neither of those answers is a directory package bought for another country.
What a Singapore business buys instead, in order
- The Google Business Profile, done properly and by hand. It is free, it is the surface that carries the map pack, and in a city state the proximity signal is doing most of the work. Correct category, correct opening hours including the awkward ones, a photograph of the actual unit, and the six digit postal code written the way the postal system writes it.
- The platforms your buyers actually open. In Singapore that list is shorter and more commercial than the ninety plus directories an American listings tool distributes to. One accurate presence where buyers transact beats ninety citations nobody reads.
- Reviews that name the service. A review saying the service was great does not help a buyer or an engine identify what you do. A review naming the repair, the treatment or the dish does both.
- A review response routine rather than a review response tool. The Preferred and Elite tiers are largely selling response, sentiment and social scheduling, which a two person team can run in twenty minutes a week without a subscription.
- A listing tool only when you have more than a handful of outlets. The economics of listings software turn on locations, not on features, and a single Singapore address does not reach that threshold.
The Moz API, which is sold by rows and works anywhere
Read on 26 October 2026, the Moz API pricing page publishes a free tier and two paid ladders, metered in rows of data returned rather than in requests.
| Plan | Monthly, USD | Rows a month | Overage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 50 | None offered |
| Starter, medium | $20 | 3,000 | Not published at this volume |
| Starter, large | $75 | 15,000 | $5 per 1,000 rows |
| Growth, small | $125 | 50,000 | $25 per 10,000 rows |
| Growth, medium | $250 | 120,000 | $20 per 10,000 rows |
| Growth, large | $500 | 500,000 | $10 per 10,000 rows |
| Enterprise | Quoted | Custom | Custom terms |
Free access is rate limited to one request every ten seconds and 50 rows a month, which is enough to test an integration and not enough to run one. The per row overage rate falls as the committed volume rises, from $5 per 1,000 rows on the largest Starter tier down to the equivalent of $1 per 1,000 on the largest Growth tier, which is the normal shape of a data contract and the reason a loose query is expensive. Build the row count into the query, not into the invoice: ask for the fields you will use rather than everything the endpoint returns, because the bill is set by what comes back.
The Singapore tax position on both of these
Moz is a foreign supplier of a software subscription, which puts it in a different position from a tool invoiced by a locally registered company. IRAS lists software, including programs and cloud storage, as a remote service, and its guidance for consumers, read on 26 October 2026, states that a buyer who is not GST registered and purchases remote services from a GST registered overseas provider pays GST at the prevailing rate, which is 9 per cent.
If your company is GST registered, the regime that applies is reverse charge on business to business imports, which IRAS describes as applying to GST registered businesses belonging in Singapore that are not entitled to full input tax claims. Both regimes started in 2020 and were extended in scope in 2023. The practical instruction is short: find out which of the two you are in before the first renewal, because the question is settled by your own registration status rather than by anything on the vendor's checkout page.
Reading the price when the vendor's own pages answer differently
One measurement note, because it affects anybody checking these figures. On 26 October 2026 the product level pricing paths for Moz Local, Moz Pro and the Moz API all returned HTTP 200 to a desktop browser agent, while the shorter paths at moz.com/pricing and the help centre returned 403 carrying an interstitial body reading "We are verifying you are human". That is a bot challenge rather than a refusal, and the lesson for anybody doing this check themselves is to read the body and not only the status code. The figures above come from the pages that answered.
The Moz Pro suite is priced separately again, and what sits inside it, what Domain Authority and Brand Authority actually measure, and which jobs it is the wrong tool for are covered in our page on Moz Pro and its metrics.
Questions about Moz Local and Moz API costs from Singapore
Can a Singapore business use Moz Local at all
Its own pricing page lists availability as the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, read on 26 October 2026. Buy it for a Singapore address and you are paying for distribution into directories in three other countries. If you have outlets in any of those three markets, the product is in scope for those outlets and not for the Singapore one.
What is the cheapest way to manage Singapore listings properly
The Google Business Profile, maintained by a named person on a monthly check, plus accurate presence on the platforms Singapore buyers transact on. That costs time rather than a subscription, and it covers a single location business completely.
Is the yearly Moz Local price worth it
For a business in a market it covers, the 20 per cent saving is a straightforward discount for commitment and the page prints the cash figure per tier. For a business in a market it does not cover, a yearly commitment makes the wrong purchase twelve times instead of once.
How is the Moz API billed
By rows of data returned each month, not by the number of requests. The free tier allows 50 rows a month at one request every ten seconds. Paid volume runs from 3,000 rows at $20 up to 500,000 rows at $500, with the overage rate per row falling as the committed volume rises.
Will GST be added to the invoice
For a buyer who is not GST registered, IRAS states that remote services from a GST registered overseas provider carry GST at the prevailing 9 per cent. For a GST registered business, reverse charge on imported services is the regime to read. Ask your accountant which of the two applies to you once, and the answer holds for every foreign subscription you sign.
Does the add-on pricing change the tier choice
It can invert it. Listings AI is $14 a month on Lite and Preferred and is bundled into Elite, so Preferred plus that add-on sits close to the Elite price without the Elite features. Price the tier with the add-ons you will actually switch on, not the base figure.
The entry with no edit button
Listing management is a correction business. Your details get copied somewhere you do not control, they go stale, and the tool exists to push the right version back out. Every part of that depends on the entry being a record with a field you can edit. There is now a version of the same problem where that is not true. Describe a Singapore need to an assistant and the reply names two or three suppliers in a sentence that was written for the person asking, is not stored anywhere, and has no owner to appeal to. No data health score covers it and no distribution network reaches it. What does work is the opposite of a dashboard: a question asked out loud, with your own name kept out of it, and the names written down. AI Knows Us does that for a category and shows the sources behind each reply, so what you fix next is a page rather than a listing field.
