Which marketing agencies in Singapore two assistants actually named, and what each one is known for
Six firms, with the count of readings each one appeared in, and the criterion behind the ranking stated so you can disagree with it.
Published by AI Knows Us · Updated 22 October 2026
Six Singapore agencies were named without being prompted across 64 blind readings taken on 22 October 2026, and four of them carried almost all of it. First Page appeared in 17 readings, MediaOne in 12, Impossible Marketing in 11, OOm in 10, Clickr in 2 and Verz in 1. That is the ranking this page reports, and the criterion is explicit: how often two AI assistants named the firm when a Singapore buyer asked who to hire, with no firm named in the question.
That criterion is checkable and it is also narrow. It measures visibility in machine answers. It does not measure delivery quality, client retention or value for money, and nobody should read it as if it did. If you want a different ranking, pick a criterion you can check and count it.
The method, so the count means something
We put 33 batches of buying questions to ChatGPT and Gemini with Singapore written into the text of every question. The search interface we use accepts a country, a language and a location parameter, answers HTTP 200 to each, and ignores all three, so a Singapore reading is only a Singapore reading when the prompt says Singapore. The snapshot taken that evening holds 64 blind readings, 32 on each engine. The brand batch that names us in the question is excluded, because a question containing an answer is a ceiling rather than a result.
The six, and what the answers said each one is for
| Agency | Readings it was named in, of 64 | What the answers associated it with |
|---|---|---|
| First Page | 17 | Performance search and paid acquisition, and the most consistently named across both engines |
| MediaOne | 12 | Search and content for small and mid sized Singapore businesses |
| Impossible Marketing | 11 | Search specifically, with a narrow service focus |
| OOm | 10 | Search and paid media, often alongside enterprise ecommerce work |
| Clickr | 2 | Appeared occasionally and in the same breath as the four above |
| Verz | 1 | A single appearance, usually in a web and build context |
Their own sites also appeared as sources. firstpagedigital.sg came back in 7 of the 64 readings, oom.com.sg in 6, mediaonemarketing.com.sg in 6 and impossible.sg in 4. That matters: these firms publish about their own market and the engines read it.
The gap between the named four and everybody else
The sharper finding is not who is in the list. It is how little competition there is for the rest of it. In 26 of the 64 readings the engines named no business at all. They answered the buying question in generalities. 13 of ChatGPT's 32 readings and 13 of Gemini's 32 contained no supplier to contact.
So the Singapore market has a short occupied shortlist and a very large unoccupied one. An agency outside the named four has two options and they cost completely different amounts. Competing for the headline shortlist question means displacing a firm that has been named 17 times out of 64. Competing for the 26 empty answers means being the first concrete, checkable page on a narrower buying question, and nobody is defending those.
What the engines read to decide this
The hosts behind these answers were mostly small Singapore specialist sites rather than the agencies' own homepages. marketingagency.sg appeared in 19 of the 64 readings, mediaplus.com.sg in 13, digitalmarket.sg in 12, singaporedigitalmarketing.sg in 11, digimau.com in 10 and stridec.com in 9. Of the international directories, clutch.co appeared in 7 and goodfirms.co in 4.
One host in that set is a warning rather than a source. staging.clutch.co appeared in 4 readings, which is a directory's staging environment and not anything a publisher intended a buyer to read. Two others, ccn.web.tr and a long reverse proxy mirror of Google's developer documentation, are our own data provider's fetch infrastructure and are resolved back to the pages they serve before any count is taken.
What the concentration tells a buyer about price
A four name shortlist changes the negotiation. When a buyer arrives having been handed the same four firms by a machine, those four are being compared against each other rather than against the market, which tends to hold their fees up and tends to push everybody else into competing on price. An agency outside the four that discounts to get on the list is solving the wrong problem, because the list was not assembled on price in the first place. It was assembled from what the engines could read, and the sources behind these answers were third party Singapore sites and the firms own published pages.
How to use this list when you are actually hiring
- Do not shortlist from it. Four names repeated by two machines is a visibility result, and you are buying delivery. Use it to know who your buyers are being told about.
- Ask each firm to show its own reading. An agency selling AI search work should be able to produce a dated before and after on a fixed question list. If it cannot produce one for itself, ask how it intends to produce one for you.
- Price the four lines, not the tier. Our page on what digital marketing services cover for a business selling inside Singapore sets out the five jobs to buy as named lists of work, and the Google Ads account ownership question that decides what you keep if you leave.
Questions about ranking Singapore agencies this way
Is being named by an assistant the same as being good
No, and this page says so twice because it is the most likely misreading. The count measures how often a machine reached for a name. Delivery is a separate question and it is answered by references and a paid audit.
Why are there only six names
Because that is how many appeared. The engines concentrate hard in this market. A search result for the same question would list ten organic links and several ads; these answers handed a buyer four firms doing most of the work.
Could an agency buy its way onto this list
Not directly. The sources behind these answers were third party Singapore sites and the firms' own published pages, which is earned rather than bought. That is also why it is worth competing for.
Does this cover Perplexity, Claude or AI Overviews
No. This run is ChatGPT and Gemini. Our product watches five surfaces and this dataset covers two, and the two stay separate in every sentence we write.
What would change this ranking
A month. The scorecard behind this page was still being written on the evening of 22 October 2026, which is why the figures here carry the snapshot date rather than a running total.
The result we are least comfortable publishing
In all 64 of those Singapore readings our own domain was cited zero times and our own name appeared zero times. We publish that for the same reason we published being cited 3 times in 597 readings in our first audit: a company that sells measurement has no business reporting only the flattering half. AI Knows Us puts a fixed list of your buyers' questions to ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews and shows which sources each answer leaned on. For a Singapore agency the first useful question is not whether you beat First Page, it is which of your own buying questions currently have nobody in the answer.
