Prove a change with an experiment

Compare the questions your change targets with the ones it did not touch, so you know whether visibility really moved.

Steps

Open Experiments. Experiments start on the Growth plan.
Under Start an experiment, give it a name, for example "pricing page rewrite".
Tick at least 3 questions your change targets. Everything you leave unticked becomes the control.
Press Start experiment.
Keep running checks as usual so new answers come in.
Press Evaluate now to compare the 60 days before the start with the time since.
Read the verdict. Changed and Not changed each show before and after rates with ranges.

A change is called real only if it beats noise and beats the control.
If the verdict says not distinguishable from noise, keep measuring. It is not a failure.
New pages typically take 4 to 8 weeks to show on Perplexity and 2 to 4 months on ChatGPT. That is typical, not a promise.
