What Google Ads management costs in Dubai and how the fee is actually calculated, with the four models and the arithmetic
No UAE supplier read on 31 October 2026 publishes a percentage of spend fee, so the percentage you are paying is something you have to calculate from a flat dirham figure and your own budget.
AI Knows Us · Updated 31 October 2026
In Dubai, Google Ads management is sold as a flat monthly fee rather than a percentage of spend. The published entry points sit between AED 2,950 and AED 3,500 a month, and packaged versions that cover several platforms run from AED 4,990 to AED 8,990 a month. Not one UAE supplier we read on 31 October 2026 prints a percentage anywhere. So the common question, what share of spend management should cost, has a precise local answer. It is not quoted as a share here, and the share you end up paying is a number you work out by dividing a published fee by your own media budget. Do that division before you sign and the whole market becomes comparable.
The published figures, and where each one comes from
- markamo.com, read 31 October 2026. Ads management on one channel from AED 2,950 a month. The page also states a minimum ad spend of AED 5,000 a month and says combined platform campaigns typically run at AED 15,000 or above, with management fees flat and separate and the budget paid directly to Google or Meta.
- slmarketing.ae, read 31 October 2026. Google Ads management from AED 2,990 a month, listed beside SEO with content production from AED 2,990 and a turnkey website from AED 9,990.
- miraireach.ae, read 31 October 2026. A Dubai Google Ads service from AED 3,500 a month with ad spend included in the figure.
- metadigitalmarketing.ae, read 31 October 2026. Monthly packages at AED 4,990, AED 5,490, AED 5,990 and AED 8,990, each stating a ceiling on the ad spend it will manage, from AED 5,000 up to AED 30,000.
- techhive.ae, read 31 October 2026. Full digital retainers from AED 8,000 a month covering search, content, paid ads and social.
- digitalarab.agency, read 31 October 2026, publishes no price of its own and states that monthly retainers for a comprehensive programme in Dubai typically range from AED 5,000 to AED 30,000 or more.
Several other suppliers the engines cited for this question publish no figure at all. upscaleads.ae, idol.ae, husbar.com, pulamedia.com and browser.ae carried no price in their served pages on 31 October 2026, and one cited path, the Dubai page on mediasearchgroup.com, returned a 404. A 404 records what a server did on a date and is not evidence that the company does not publish prices elsewhere.
The four ways the fee is calculated, and what each does to your money
One, a flat fee with the media paid by you
You pay the supplier a fixed amount and pay Google yourself. This is the structure markamo.com publishes, and it is the easiest to audit because the two amounts sit on two different statements. It also keeps the billing relationship, and therefore usually the account, in your name. The downside is that the fee does not move when your spend does, so a quiet month costs the same as a busy one.
Two, a flat fee with the media bundled inside it
One figure covers both, which is what miraireach.ae sells from AED 3,500 a month. It is genuinely simpler for a single location business and it hides the split. If you buy it, require the platform level spend figure in writing each month, because without it you cannot tell whether a quiet month was a cheaper month for you or a better month for them.
Three, a flat fee with a spend ceiling
metadigitalmarketing.ae prices this openly. AED 4,990 a month manages up to AED 15,000 of ad spend, AED 5,490 manages up to AED 30,000 and AED 5,990 manages up to AED 10,000 in its business to business package. The ceiling is the clause that matters, because crossing it is a new price rather than a bigger month, and that conversation is much easier before signature.
Four, a percentage of spend
Nobody publishes it in this market, and it is still quoted privately, usually between a tenth and a fifth of media. Two things are worth knowing about it. The fee falls exactly when you cut the budget, which is the month the account needs more attention. And it rewards spending rather than efficiency, so the model argues against the optimisation you are buying. Our page on how much of a UAE marketing budget should go to the fee and how much to media takes that structural point further.
The arithmetic, which is the part nobody does for you
Divide the published fee by the media you actually plan to spend. All of these use figures from the pages above and the division is stated so you can check it.
| Fee | Monthly media | Fee as a share of media |
|---|---|---|
| AED 2,950 | AED 5,000, the minimum markamo.com states | 59 per cent |
| AED 2,950 | AED 15,000, the figure the same page calls typical for combined platforms | about 20 per cent |
| AED 2,990 | AED 30,000 | about 10 per cent |
| AED 4,990 with a ceiling of AED 15,000 | AED 15,000 at the ceiling | about 33 per cent |
Read the first row carefully, because it is the one that catches small UAE advertisers. At a AED 5,000 media budget the management fee is larger than half the money reaching the auction, and no supplier is being unreasonable, since the work takes the same hours whatever the budget. It simply means a small advertiser should either raise the media, reduce the number of platforms, or run the account in house with a few hours of paid help. The decision is arithmetic rather than taste.
The second charge, which is the click itself
The fee is not the cost of advertising. Two UAE suppliers publish numbers that show the range in this market, both read on 31 October 2026. slmarketing.ae publishes its own account for 24 June to 24 July 2026, with AED 8,710 of media spend producing 975 clicks, which is about AED 8.90 a click, and 95 WhatsApp chats opened at AED 92 per conversation, with the explicit note that a conversation is not a booking. accessone.ae describes a clinic in Jumeirah Lake Towers paying AED 220 a click in a medical category and closing one lead in forty.
Between nine dirhams and two hundred and twenty dirhams a click is the spread this country actually contains, and it is driven by the category rather than by the agency. Any quote that promises a cost per click without asking what you sell is quoting somebody else's auction. Our page on how to tell whether your UAE Google Ads account is being run or just being spent covers how to read the account once the money is flowing.
VAT, and the figure that is easy to forget
The Federal Tax Authority's own VAT calculator at tax.gov.ae labels the tax VAT 5% (AED), read on 31 October 2026. 4ai.ae publishes its figures with a line stating that every one excludes VAT, which is the clearest version of this on any UAE agency page we read. Add 5 per cent to the fee in your own planning, and settle the treatment of the media spend with your finance team rather than with the agency.
What to send a supplier instead of asking for a quote
- Your planned monthly media budget, as a figure.
- The platforms you want run, and which ones you are prepared to drop.
- Your definition of a conversion, in one sentence, including whether a WhatsApp chat counts.
- A requirement that the account is in your name with access granted to them.
- A request for the fee and the media stated separately on the proposal, whatever model they sell.
Five lines, and the replies become comparable. Suppliers who cannot answer in that shape are telling you something useful at no cost to you.
Questions Dubai advertisers ask about the management fee
What percentage of spend should Google Ads management cost
In the UAE the question is better asked the other way round, because the market quotes flat fees. Take the flat figure, divide by your media, and judge the result. Under about a fifth of media is normal for a mid sized account here. Over half of media means your budget is too small for the number of platforms you are buying.
Is AED 2,950 a month enough to run a serious account
For one platform with a clear conversion and a media budget above AED 10,000, yes, and markamo.com sells exactly that. For four platforms, two languages and an ecommerce feed, no, which is why the packaged suppliers price from AED 4,990 upward.
Does Google charge a management fee
No. Google charges for the advertising. Everything described on this page is what a supplier charges to run it, and the two figures should never arrive as one number unless the supplier has told you the media is included, as miraireach.ae does.
Should the agency hold the billing
Prefer your own card or bank paying Google directly. It keeps the account in your name, it makes the spend auditable without asking anybody, and it removes the most common reason a UAE advertiser cannot leave a supplier. Google's documentation lists five manager account access levels, so there is a way to give an agency full working access without giving up ownership.
What does a website cost on top of this
That is a separate budget line and the published dirham figures are collected in our page on the cheapest monthly marketing spend that achieves anything in the UAE, which sets the floor across the whole programme rather than for ads alone.
What two engines told a Dubai buyer asking about the fee, and the host that answered it
On 30 October 2026 we put 216 questions to ChatGPT and Gemini with the United Arab Emirates fixed in the prompt text, 72 blind pipelines across 36 batches, filtered to 102 buyer questions. The batch carrying the dirham pricing questions named one vendor across both engines, Profound, which sells AI answer monitoring rather than advertising management. The hosts recorded behind those answers included mof.gov.ae, business.google.com and a run of UAE agency sites, among them idol.ae, thehovi.com, husbar.com, seocompanydubai.ae, slmarketing.ae, digitalarab.agency and lucidarc.ae.
So the answer a Dubai advertiser receives about management fees is assembled from UAE agency marketing pages, most of which publish no fee, and the one vendor named sells something else entirely. The six suppliers that do print a dirham figure are the reason this page can state a range at all, and publishing a figure is still rare enough in this market to be a competitive act. Across all 102 buyer questions we were named zero times and cited zero times in the 72 blind readings, so our own pages are not in that answer either.
