GEO for SaaS

HR and payroll, CRM, accounting, dev tools, vertical SaaS

Get your software on the shortlist AI apps give to buyers.

Software buyers now ask ChatGPT and Perplexity for a shortlist before they open a single vendor site. We show which tools those answers name, which review sites they trust, and which pages you need so your product is named for the jobs it really does well.

We work to get your business named and cited when your buyers ask AI.

01

What buyers ask AI

Real buyers give context: a city, a budget, a team size, often in Hinglish. These are the kinds of questions worth tracking in this industry.

None of them name your brand. That is the blind rule: if the question names you, the AI app mentions you because you asked, and the result tells you nothing. How to write good buyer questions

Example buyer questions
  • Best payroll software for a 40 person startup in Bengaluru that handles PF and ESIBengaluru
  • Zoho CRM vs Freshsales for a small B2B sales team in India, which is easier to set up?Comparison
  • Alternatives to Tally for a growing D2C brand that needs GST e-invoicingAlternatives
  • Which HRMS has good WhatsApp integration for leave approvals?
  • Accounting software with INR billing and a free plan for freelancers
  • Hamare 25 logon ki team ke liye sabse accha project management tool kaunsa hai?Hinglish
  • How much does an applicant tracking system cost per month in India for a 10 recruiter team?Pricing
  • Is there a SOC 2 compliant customer support tool that stores data in India?Compliance

Where AI apps look

For software, AI apps lean hard on review platforms and best-of lists. A clear pricing page and honest comparison pages on your own site are often what gets cited next to them.

Review platforms

  • G2
  • Capterra
  • GetApp
  • Software Advice
  • TrustRadius

Community

  • Reddit threads
  • Product Hunt
  • Hacker News
  • LinkedIn posts

  • Indian startup media
  • Tech blogs
  • YouTube reviews

Your first 30 days with AI Knows Us

A realistic order to work in. Each step happens on a real page in the app, and every page waits before it goes live, so you can check it first.

Suggested plan

Growth Rs 11,799 / month

SaaS categories have many comparison and alternatives questions. Growth gives you 100 buyer questions we watch, 10 competitors, publishing by API and experiments to prove what worked.

Compare plans
  1. Day 1

    Set up your business

Add your site, category and up to 10 competitors. Upload your pricing sheet and product deck so the fact sheet has plan names, limits and integrations.

    In the app: Onboarding

  2. Day 2

    Confirm the facts that matter

Confirm prices, integration names, compliance claims and customer counts. Remove anything you cannot back up. Writers use only your fact sheet, and a claim about the wider world waits for a source.

    In the app: Company

  3. Day 3

    Tune your buyer questions

Check that questions cover team size, city, budget and the tools buyers switch from. Move switching and pricing questions to Tier 1.

    In the app: Questions

  4. Day 4

Run first checks and deep discovery

Run checks on all AI apps, then run deep discovery on Perplexity to see which pages it says it would cite for your category.

    In the app: Questions

  5. Day 7

    Diagnose the gaps

Read which questions you miss and why. Missing from sources usually points to G2, Capterra or a roundup you are not on.

    In the app: Gaps

  6. Day 10

    Plan and write comparison pages

Plan pages for the largest gaps. Start with one comparison page and one alternatives page. Review checks and fact notes before the page goes live.

    In the app: Content plan

  7. Day 14

    Publish and ask for reviews

Checked pages go live on your blog automatically, after a hold you can stop. In Get listed, find the review platforms AI apps cite and ask real customers to review you there.

    In the app: Publishing

  8. Day 21 to 30

    Start an experiment

Start an experiment on the questions your new pages target, keep weekly checks running and evaluate once enough new checks are in.

Pages to publish first

Starting ideas. The content planner builds your real plan from your own gaps, one page per buyer question.

  • 01Best-of list

Best payroll software for Indian startups with under 100 staff

Discovery questions ask for a ranked list. Be honest about where each tool fits.

  • 02Comparison

Your product vs the market leader: features, pricing and who each suits

Buyers name the incumbent in their question. A fair comparison is often cited.

  • 03Best-of list

Alternatives to the tool your buyers are leaving

Switching questions carry strong buying intent.

  • 04How-to guide

How to run payroll with PF, ESI and TDS in one place

Problem questions let you show the job your product does, step by step.

  • 05Explainer

What does an HRMS cost in India in 2026?

Pricing questions need plain, current numbers. Your own price on your word, a market rate with a source.

05

Watch-outs

Honest pages get cited. Pages that overclaim can hurt you with buyers, AI apps and regulators.

  • Only claim integrations, certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001) and data residency you can show proof for.
  • In comparison pages, describe competitors neutrally and date any competitor price you quote.
  • Never write, buy or reward reviews on G2 or Capterra. Ask real customers and follow each platform's rules.
  • Avoid unproven "best" or "number one" wording. Explain who your product suits instead.

This is general guidance, not legal advice. Check the rules that apply to your business.

Questions

More in the help centre.

Do AI apps really use G2 and Capterra?

Often, for software questions. You can see exactly which review sites were cited for your questions in the Answers and Get listed pages, so you do not have to guess.

Should we write pages comparing ourselves to competitors?

Yes, if they are fair. AI apps cite comparison pages that are specific, dated and balanced. Pages that only praise the author tend to be ignored.

Our product is global. Can we track the US and India?

Yes. Add both countries in your profile and write questions for each market. The first country listed sets where checks are asked from.

How soon will we see a change?

It varies by AI app. New pages typically take 4 to 8 weeks to show on Perplexity and 2 to 4 months on ChatGPT. That is typical, not a promise.
