Marketing agency pricing in Singapore by supplier type, and why the enquiry form is the real price list
Budget bands and published figures read from three Singapore suppliers on 26 October 2026, the unit each discipline prices on, and one question per supplier type that makes two quotes comparable.
Published by AI Knows Us · Updated 26 October 2026
Hardly any marketing agency in Singapore publishes a price list, and almost all of them publish budget bands on their own enquiry form. Those bands are the price list, they are free to read, and they sort the market by supplier type faster than any quote. Read on 26 October 2026: OOm's enquiry form offers monthly marketing budgets of $1,500 to $3,000, $3,001 to $6,000, $6,001 to $10,000 and $10,001 and up. 2Stallions' form offers project budgets of up to $15,000, S$15,000 to S$40,000, S$40,000 to S$50,000 and above S$50,000. Awebstar skips the form and publishes outright, from S$399 a month for social posting to S$4,494 for a twenty page website build. Three suppliers, three completely different shapes of business, and you can tell which is which in under a minute without speaking to anyone.
This page sets out what each kind of Singapore supplier charges on, the figures each one published on 26 October 2026, and the single question per discipline that makes two quotes comparable.
Read the form before you read the pitch deck
An enquiry form's budget bands are written by the people who have to qualify the leads, which makes them the most honest pricing statement on an agency website. Three things fall out of them.
- The bottom band is the real minimum. A form whose lowest option is $1,500 to $3,000 a month is telling you the firm does not want a S$800 retainer. A form whose lowest option is "up to $15,000" per project is telling you it does not sell monthly retainers at all.
- The unit tells you the business model. Monthly bands mean retainers. Project bands mean campaigns and builds. A supplier with both is running two businesses, and you should ask which one your brief lands in.
- The service checklist tells you what is actually in house. 2Stallions' form lists search, digital advertising including programmatic, content, social, website and app development, creative and design, and email as separate options. A form that offers nine services from one firm either has nine teams or a fulfilment partner, and asking which is a fair opening question.
What each supplier type charges on, and what was published on 26 October 2026
| Supplier type | The unit the price is built on | Published Singapore figure we could read | The question that makes two quotes comparable |
|---|---|---|---|
| Social media management or social media consultant | Posts per week per network, plus production | S$399 a month for 3 postings per week per network, Awebstar | Who shoots and edits, and who approves before it goes live |
| Facebook and Meta ads agency | Management fee plus media spend | No fee published. Awebstar reserves an enterprise social advertising tier for advertising budgets exceeding $10,000 per month | Is the fee a percentage of spend or a flat retainer, and what happens in the month we pause |
| Google Ads agency | Management fee plus media spend | No fee published. Awebstar publishes a $25 ad coupon credit for new clients | Whose name is the Google Ads account opened in |
| Web design agency | Pages and lead time | Awebstar at S$1,494 for up to 5 pages in 2 weeks, S$2,584 for up to 10 pages in 3 weeks and S$4,494 for up to 20 pages in 5 weeks. Verz Design states a corporate site from $2,500 and ecommerce from $5,000 | What do we own when it ships, and who can edit it afterwards |
| Creative agency asked for a price list | Thinking, making, and usage rights | No Singapore rate card published. 2Stallions bands the work per project from up to $15,000 to above S$50,000 | How long do the usage rights run, and what does renewal cost |
| Email marketing agency | Retainer plus the sending platform | No Singapore retainer published. Campaign Monitor publishes agency features and routes agency pricing to its sales team | Who owns the list and the platform account |
| Influencer marketing agency | Creator fee, usage rights, and the disclosure check | No Singapore rate card published | Who writes the disclosure into the brief and who checks the post before it is live |
| Inbound marketing agency | Monthly retainer against a content and automation platform | No Singapore retainer published | What arrives each month as countable units, and is the platform licence inside the fee |
| Marketing consultant | Hours or days | No Singapore rate card published | Am I buying diagnosis or delivery, because the rate for each should differ |
The disciplines where the unit matters more than the figure
Social media, where the shoot is the budget
A published S$399 a month for three postings per week per network is a real figure and it buys scheduling, not production. The cost that moves a social quote in Singapore is the shoot day: who turns up, how often, and whether the footage is reusable. Ask for the posting count and the production count as two separate numbers, because a supplier quoting one number is deciding the split for you.
Paid media, where the fee and the spend must never be one line
Nobody in this market publishes a management fee, and the clearest signal of how the fee is built is where a supplier draws its tier lines. An enterprise tier defined by advertising budgets above $10,000 a month tells you the fee scales with spend. Keep the management fee and the media budget on separate lines and separate invoices, so a rising bill tells you whether you bought more work or more media, and ask whether Singapore GST at 9 per cent sits inside the media figure or outside it. Settle account ownership in the same email: the account opens in your company's name, with the agency given access.
Web design, where pages and lead time are the whole price
This is the one discipline in Singapore where the published figures line up neatly into a ladder you can read. Pages and weeks are the unit, and the step between tiers is visible: five pages in two weeks, ten in three, twenty in five. Compare on those two numbers and the tier names stop mattering. The thing the ladder does not show is ownership, and that is the question worth asking before the deposit. Our page on what a build costs by scope and what you own when it ships sets out the clauses that decide whether you can edit the site next year without going back to the builder.
Creative work, where the renewal is the cost nobody budgets
A Singapore creative agency asked for a price list will usually offer a project band instead, and that is reasonable, because the variable is not hours. It is rights. A photograph, a piece of music or a presenter booked for twelve months becomes a renewal invoice in month thirteen, and that invoice arrives when the campaign is working and you have the least appetite to stop it. Ask for the rights term in writing at the proposal stage and ask what renewal costs, as our page on what thinking, making and rights each cost sets out.
Email, where you are buying a list you should already own
Email pricing in Singapore has two halves and suppliers often quote one. There is the retainer for strategy, writing and building the sends, and there is the platform subscription that does the sending. On the platform side, one thing worth knowing if you are an agency buying rather than a brand: Campaign Monitor publishes a detailed set of agency features, including tiered sub accounts under one administrative account, client level insights and shared dashboards, and on 26 October 2026 no agency price figure appeared in the served page, with the route being a sales conversation. So "campaign monitor agency pricing" has an honest answer, which is that it is quoted rather than published. For the retainer half, our page on what an email retainer covers and why the list and the platform matter more than the fee covers the line items to require.
Influencer work, where compliance is a line item rather than an assumption
The Advertising Standards Authority of Singapore, which describes itself as an advisory council to the Consumers Association of Singapore, issued its Guidelines on Interactive Marketing Communication and Social Media on 29 August 2016, with effect from that date and a one month grace period to 29 September 2016, and states they are to be read with the rest of the Singapore Code of Advertising Practice. Read on asas.org.sg on 26 October 2026. For a buyer, that turns disclosure into a priced task rather than a good intention: somebody has to write it into each brief and somebody has to check the post before it is live. Ask which named person does each, and whether it is inside the fee. ASAS also publishes a fee for pre publication advertising advice, with a member and non member rate, which our guide to what a marketing agency retainer costs a month in Singapore sets out in full alongside the contract lines that move a retainer figure.
Consultants, where the rate should not be one rate
A marketing consultant in Singapore sells two different things at the same hourly figure, and that is the inefficiency to fix. Diagnosis is a small number of senior hours and is worth a premium. Delivery is production and should be bought per unit. Split the engagement and you stop paying consultant rates for work a production supplier does better. Our page on the rates, the four things people buy and what to purchase first breaks the four purchases apart.
What the form bands do not tell you
Three things, and each is a question rather than a guess.
- Whether GST is inside the band. At 9 per cent, a S$6,000 a month band is S$6,540 with GST, and a finance team that approved the first number will query the second every month. Ask for the figure both ways and ask for the GST registration number.
- How much of the work sits outside Singapore. Regional delivery is normal here and is not a problem on its own. Not knowing the share is the problem. Ask for the percentage of monthly hours outside Singapore and who the client contact escalates to.
- Whether the band is a retainer or a project. A project band of "up to $15,000" and a monthly band of "$1,500 to $3,000" can describe almost the same annual spend and completely different commitments. Translate both into twelve months before you compare them.
The five minute check to run before any Singapore agency meeting
- Open the supplier's enquiry form and read the budget bands. Note the lowest one and whether it is monthly or per project.
- Note which services the form lists as separate options, and plan to ask which are delivered in house.
- Look for a published figure anywhere on the site. If one exists, it tells you the unit the firm thinks in.
- Check the entity on ACRA's register, so you know how long the company you would be contracting with has existed.
- If the pitch mentions a grant, check the grant page on the supplier's own site is current. EDG, MRA and PSG under Enterprise Singapore ceased on 29 September 2026 and the EDGE Grant replaced them from 30 September 2026, so a page still selling a PSG route has not been updated.
Questions Singapore buyers ask about agency pricing by supplier type
Why will no Singapore agency publish a price list?
Because the scope varies more than the price does, and a published figure gets compared against a different scope. The workaround is to stop asking for a price and start asking for the unit: posts per week, pages per month, hours by named role, keyphrases in scope. A supplier that answers in units is quotable. One that answers in tier names is not.
Which supplier type is cheapest for a small Singapore business?
For one outlet and one service line, a single discipline specialist on a small published package usually beats a full service retainer, because you are not paying for coordination you do not need. The point at which the full service firm becomes cheaper is when you are managing three suppliers yourself and the management time starts to cost more than the coordination fee.
Should the media budget sit inside the agency fee?
No. Separate lines and separate invoices, every time. A blended figure hides whether a rising bill is more work or more media, and it makes the month you pause advertising look like the month the agency stopped working.
Is a Singapore agency more expensive than a regional one for the same scope?
For the same scope, usually, and the gap is labour cost rather than skill. The decision worth making is which parts of the scope need somebody here. Anything a Singapore buyer will read and judge, anything touching a Singapore customer list and anything carrying a claim usually does. Build work and reporting often do not. Our guide to digital marketing services for a business selling inside Singapore covers the five jobs and what to ask for in each.
What is a fair first commitment with a Singapore agency?
Buy a fixed scope piece of work before any retainer, with the deliverable written down. You then pick a supplier on work you have read rather than on a pitch, and the output keeps its value even if you hire somebody else.
How do I compare a project band against a monthly retainer?
Convert both to twelve months and to countable units. A S$40,000 project and a S$3,300 a month retainer are similar money and very different commitments: one ends, the other renews. Decide which you actually want before you read either number.
The supplier type no Singapore enquiry form has a band for
Go back over the nine rows and notice what each band is pricing: a post, a click, a page, a send. The decision a Singapore buyer makes in 2026 often happens earlier than any of those, at the moment a shortlist arrives already assembled because somebody asked an assistant instead of running a search. ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews answer the same Singapore supplier question differently, lean on different sources and share no ranking between them, so a strong position in one says nothing about the other four. Knowing what those five say about your category right now tells you how much of the channel spend in the table above is reaching a buyer who has not already been handed somebody else's name. AI Knows Us takes that reading across all five and shows the sources behind each answer, and the first one at aiknowsus.com is free and asks for no account, which makes it the cheapest item on this page by a wide margin.
