Pick a Dubai paid media supplier on whose card pays Google, because that one answer sorts the whole market

Five UAE paid media suppliers were read on their own pages on 31 October 2026 and they take three different positions on whether your ad budget passes through the agency, which decides how much of the relationship you can ever audit.

AI Knows Us · Updated 31 October 2026

One question sorts this market faster than any pitch. Whose card pays Google. A supplier that leaves the media on your own card and charges a separate fee has handed you an account you can audit, a billing relationship you keep and an exit you can take. A supplier that bundles the media into one monthly figure has given you a simpler invoice and taken away your ability to see what reached the auction. Both are legitimate products. Only one of them lets you check the work without asking permission, and five UAE suppliers read on 31 October 2026 split three ways on it. Settle that first, then judge the fee, the ownership position and whether the supplier has ever published one account level number with a date on it.

Where five UAE suppliers stand on the money route, read on 31 October 2026

The page states management fees are flat and separate, the budget goes straight to Google or Meta and the supplier never touches itA stated minimum ad spend of AED 5,000 a month, combined platform campaigns typically AED 15,000 or above, and accounts and assets staying with the client in writing from day one
slmarketing.aeGoogle Ads management from AED 2,990 a monthNot stated on the pageIts own account data for 24 June to 24 July 2026, being AED 8,710 of media spend, 975 clicks, 95 WhatsApp chats opened and AED 92 per conversation, with a note that a conversion there is a chat opened rather than a booking

metadigitalmarketing.aePackages at AED 4,990, AED 5,490, AED 5,990 and AED 8,990 a monthYours, up to a ceiling the package statesEach package names the managed ad spend ceiling, from AED 5,000 to AED 30,000, and names the platforms it covers
techhive.aeFull digital retainers from AED 8,000 a month, with SEO stated at AED 2,500 in one place on the page and AED 4,000 in anotherNot stated on the pageLive reporting dashboards tied to the client's CRM, and a stated B2B focus. The two different SEO starting figures on one page are worth asking about rather than assuming

None of the five publishes a percentage of spend fee. That is the single most useful finding here, because the question UAE buyers most often ask is what the percentage should be, and in this market the answer is that the market does not sell it that way.

The three fee shapes, and what each one does to you

  • Flat fee, you pay the platform. markamo.com and metadigitalmarketing.ae. The cleanest to audit, because the media figure is on your own card statement and the fee is on one invoice. You can check both independently.
  • Flat fee with the media bundled in. miraireach.ae. Simple to budget and impossible to audit unless you require the platform level spend in writing every month. Where the fee covers the media, cutting the media is also cutting the fee, so there is no way to see what reached the auction without asking.
  • Percentage of spend. Nobody in this set publishes it. Where it is quoted privately, notice what it does. The fee falls exactly when you cut the budget, which is the month you need more attention rather than less. Our page on how much of a UAE marketing budget should go to the fee and how much to media works through the structural problem in full.

The arithmetic to run before you accept any of them

Convert whatever you are quoted into a share of your own planned spend, because that is the comparison the market will not do for you. At markamo.com's stated minimum of AED 5,000 of monthly media, a fee of AED 2,950 is 59 per cent of the media figure. At the AED 15,000 the same page describes as typical for combined platform campaigns, the same fee is about 20 per cent. metadigitalmarketing.ae's AED 4,990 package managing up to AED 15,000 of spend is 33 per cent at its ceiling. Those are arithmetic on published figures rather than opinions, and they explain why a small advertiser pays a far higher effective rate than a large one in this market. If your media budget is under AED 10,000 a month, the fee is the dominant cost and the supplier's cheapest package is not necessarily the cheapest arrangement.

Three more records to read once the money route is settled

  • Who holds the account and the billing. Ask for the account in your own name with the agency granted access. Google's own documentation lists five manager account access levels, which are administrative, standard, read only, email only and billing, so there is a version of this that gives them everything they need without giving away ownership.
  • What a conversion is, in one sentence. slmarketing.ae defines its own as a WhatsApp chat opened from the ad rather than a signed booking, and publishing that distinction is a mark of a supplier worth talking to. Require the same sentence from anybody who quotes you a cost per lead.
  • What happens in the first thirty days. Account structure, negative keywords, the Arabic and English split in the ad copy, and conversion tracking proven by a test conversion you can see.
  • What the monthly report contains in a month when nothing improved. The answer tells you whether you are buying management or reporting. Our page on how to tell whether your UAE Google Ads account is being run or just being spent gives you the nine checks to run on your current account before you replace anybody.

The UAE specific items a paid search supplier has to handle

Three things make this market different and they are all cheap to check in a first conversation.

  • Two languages in one account. Arabic and English search behave differently and need separate campaigns, separate negatives and separate landing pages. A single blended campaign is a shortcut you will pay for in wasted clicks.
  • The reply route is usually WhatsApp. accessone.ae describes a Jumeirah Lake Towers clinic paying AED 220 a click and closing one in forty leads, with the campaign working and the first ten minutes of the reply not. Whoever runs the ads should care about that handover even though it is not their job, because it is where the money goes.
  • Regulated categories need approvals. Health, finance, property and education advertising carry their own permissions here, and a supplier who has run them will tell you which authority and how long it takes. Our page on what a UAE business may claim in its marketing covers the claims side of the same question.

Questions UAE advertisers ask when choosing a paid search supplier

Is a fixed monthly price with ad spend included a bad deal

It is a legitimate product for a small single location advertiser who wants one number and no reconciliation, and miraireach.ae sells exactly that from AED 3,500 a month. It becomes a poor deal the moment your spend grows, because you lose visibility of the split at the point where the split starts to matter. Ask for the platform spend figure monthly and you keep the simplicity without losing the audit.

What should we expect to pay in total

Add the fee to your media. At the figures published above, a serious small account in the UAE sits around AED 3,000 of fee plus AED 5,000 to AED 15,000 of media, so AED 8,000 to AED 18,000 a month before VAT, which the Federal Tax Authority's own calculator labels at 5 per cent. Our page on the cheapest monthly marketing spend that achieves anything in the UAE sets the floor for the whole programme rather than just the ads.

Should we hire a specialist or a full service agency

A specialist for a single channel that is already producing, a full service supplier when the constraint is that nobody is doing anything at all. The giveaway is the first conversation. A specialist asks about your account structure and your conversion definition. A generalist asks about your goals.

How do we judge a supplier with no published prices

By what else they publish. Several UAE paid media suppliers publish no figure anywhere, and that is their choice rather than a defect, so judge them on the money rule, the ownership position and one dated number instead. A supplier with none of those is asking you to buy on the pitch.

Does the agency need to be in the UAE

For the account work, no. For the Arabic, the regulated approvals and the WhatsApp handover, local experience shows up fast. Our page on whether a UAE buyer needs a local entity and a dirham invoice settles the paperwork half of this.

What two engines actually recommended when a UAE advertiser asked this question

On 30 October 2026 we put 216 questions to ChatGPT and Gemini with the United Arab Emirates fixed in the prompt text, 72 blind pipelines across 36 batches, filtered to 102 buyer questions. The batch carrying the paid media questions named one vendor across both engines, HubSpot, which does not sell paid search management. The hosts recorded behind those answers were mostly UAE agency sites including digitalarab.agency, slmarketing.ae, upscaleads.ae, miraireach.ae, accessone.ae and bigalc.ae, plus Google's own support pages and the directories clutch.co and goodfirms.co.

So the engines are reading UAE paid media suppliers' own pages and two global directories, and then naming a marketing software company rather than any of the agencies whose pages they just read. For a UAE agency that is a gap worth closing by publishing the four records above, because the pages being read are already yours. For a UAE advertiser it means the shortlist is still your job, and the four records are the fastest way to build it. We were named in none of the 102 answers and cited in none of the 72 blind readings, which is the same hole seen from our side of the table.
