The best digital marketing agencies for a mid sized UAE company, ranked on what each one publishes
Nine UAE agency sites read on 31 October 2026 and scored on four things a buyer can verify in ten minutes, because taste is not a criterion and a pitch deck is not evidence.

For a mid sized UAE company, the best starting shortlist is the small group of agencies that publish enough for you to check them before the first meeting. On the four checkable items below, read from the suppliers' own sites on 31 October 2026, three firms score three or four out of four: digidot.ae, markamo.com and slmarketing.ae. Four of the larger and better known names, globalmediainsight.com, chainreaction.ae, redberries.ae and 247agency.ae, publish no price, no licence number and no dated result, which does not make them bad agencies and does mean you cannot compare them without a meeting. That is the whole finding, and the criterion is stated so you can disagree with it.
We are not ranking anybody on the quality of their creative or their media buying, because nobody outside their client list can, and a list that claims to is ranking on taste. We are ranking on disclosure, which is the only thing a buyer can audit from the outside and the thing that predicts how a supplier will behave when you ask for a number in month six.
The four items, and why these four
- A published price or price range. A supplier that puts a number on its own site has decided what it sells and to whom. One that routes every question to a call is reserving the right to price you rather than the work.
- Its own people named, with titles. Client testimonials with client names do not count. The question is whether you can see who would run your account.
- A result with a number and a calendar period attached. A total with no period, such as 2,500 projects delivered or 500 keywords ranked, cannot be checked by anybody and does not count.
- A legal entity or trade licence number on the site. This is the cheapest honesty signal in the market and it is the one most often missing.
What the nine sites published on 31 October 2026
| Firm, read from its own site | Published price | Own people named | Dated result | Entity or licence shown |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| digidot.ae | Yes. AED 3,000 to 15,000 a month, in its FAQ | Yes. Kanwal Shahzad, founder | Yes. 13 June to 12 September 2026 against 2025, 74 to 3,420 organic clicks | Yes. DED licence number in the footer |
| markamo.com | Yes. From AED 2,950 a month for one ads channel, from AED 7,500 for the full engine | Yes. Founder and co founder, both with titles | No. Figures such as 312 per cent average return on ad spend carry no period | Yes. Commercial licence number and a named LLC |
| slmarketing.ae | Yes. Monthly from AED 2,990, turnkey site from AED 9,990 | No. Roles only, no names | Yes. 24 June to 24 July 2026, AED 8,710 spend, 975 clicks, 95 chats, AED 92 per conversation | Part. Names the operating company, no licence number |
| seocompanydubai.ae | Yes. Three tiers from AED 3,500 to 6,000 up to AED 18,000 and above | Yes. 22 named staff with roles | Part. Figures with durations such as 340 per cent in 7 months, no calendar dates | No |
| seoplus.ae | No. Cost is discussed privately after a site review | No | Yes. A ranking report dated 1 July 2026 with a 590 a month search figure, re checked 4 August 2026 | No |
| chainreaction.ae | No | No. Client side names only | Part. One client testimonial states more than 40 influencer campaigns in 2025 | No |
| globalmediainsight.com | No. The FAQ invites you to contact the team | No | No. 2,500 projects and 90 per cent retention, both undated | No. Brand name in the footer only |
| redberries.ae | No | No. Roles in the team section, names only in testimonials | No. 500 keywords on page one, undated | No |
| 247agency.ae | No | No | No. 500 projects, 200 clients, 98 per cent success rate, all undated | No |
Two things in that table are worth reading twice. seocompanydubai.ae publishes three clean tiers and then contradicts itself in its own FAQ, which describes the market range as AED 3,500 to AED 25,000 and above while its top published tier starts at AED 18,000. Ask which figure applies to you. And markamo.com, which publishes more than almost anybody, also offers 20 qualified leads in the first 30 days. Treat that as a sales line rather than a specification until the definition of qualified is in your contract, and read our page on the promise to refuse from an agency before you accept it.
Where this ranking is weakest, stated plainly
Disclosure and competence are not the same thing. A large Dubai network with a long client list and no published price may do better work than a five person studio that publishes everything, and the four firms at the bottom of that table include some of the most established names in the market. What the table tells you is how much of your due diligence you can do before you spend a meeting, and in a market where most suppliers publish nothing, the ones that publish something are a cheaper place to start. It also tells you which questions to ask the ones that publish nothing: price, people, a dated result, and the licence.
A second limit. Nine sites is nine sites. There are hundreds of agencies in the United Arab Emirates and this is a sample drawn from the firms the engines actually cited when we asked UAE buying questions, which is a selection rule, not a census. Run the same four checks on any firm you are considering and the method travels.
What a mid sized company needs that a small one does not
A company doing roughly AED 30 to 40 million a year, or around ten million dollars, is past the point where one freelancer covers it and short of the point where an in house team of six makes sense. Three things change at that size and they should change your brief.
You now have an approval chain. Somebody signs, somebody else is accountable for the number, and the agency has to produce a report that survives being forwarded. Ask to see a sample monthly report from a month when nothing improved. That single request sorts suppliers faster than any pitch.
You have more than one buyer type. At this size the same company usually serves a consumer and a trade audience, or a UAE and a Gulf audience, or an Arabic and an English speaking audience. A four channel retainer spread across all of them produces thin work everywhere. Buy depth in one audience first.
Your own data becomes the asset. Enquiry records, call logs, CRM history. The contract clauses that matter at this size are about who holds that data and what happens to it at the end, which is covered in the eight questions a UAE agency would rather you did not ask.
What two engines actually name when a UAE buyer asks this question
On 30 October 2026 we put a 36 batch question set to ChatGPT and Gemini with the United Arab Emirates written into the prompt text, which produced 72 blind readings over 216 questions, 102 of them buying questions. The batch carrying this page's two questions, which agencies you would recommend to a mid sized company here and which are best for a company at about ten million a year, named HubSpot in both readings and no UAE agency in either.
Across the full run the names the engines reached for most often were HubSpot in 15 readings, Semrush in 13, Ahrefs in 9, Otterly in 8, and Profound and Peec in 7 each. Every one of those is software sold by subscription. Not one of them is an agency, in Dubai or anywhere else. So the honest answer to what an assistant recommends to a mid sized UAE company today is that it mostly recommends tools and then cites agency blog posts underneath, including thehovi.com, redberries.ae, markamo.com, globalmediainsight.com, webperts.com and goodfirms.co on this batch. Across all 36 batches the recorded citation lists hold 385 distinct domains, 121 of them ending in .ae, and none of them is one of ours.
Our separate measurement of the five Dubai firms the engines will compare when you put them inside the question is in which UAE agency to pick for AI search visibility, and the difference between a firm an engine was handed and a firm it reached for unprompted is the main thing that page measures.
Questions mid sized UAE companies ask when shortlisting an agency
Should the shortlist be Dubai firms only? No, but the firms you shortlist should be able to answer for the parts of the work that need somebody here, which is permits, platform accounts and anything requiring a same day local conversation. Our page on the local entity and AED invoice question separates the six things that genuinely change from the two that are habit.
How many agencies should be on the list? Eight on a long list, three in conversation, and the cut between the two made on documents rather than on meetings. The ten day version of that process is published and linked above.
Is a published price a sign of a cheaper agency? Not in this sample. The published tiers run from AED 2,950 to AED 18,000 and above a month, which covers most of the range a mid sized company would consider anyway. What a published price signals is a defined product.
What if a firm refuses to name the people who will do the work? Ask again in writing, then treat the second refusal as the answer. At mid size the named account lead is most of what you are buying, and an agency unwilling to name them is reserving the right to change them.
Do directories help? A little, and less than their own marketing suggests. goodfirms.co and clutch.co do turn up in the sources behind these answers, which is a reason to keep your profile current, not a reason to buy a listing package.
The fifth item we would add to the four, and the one we are measured on
There is a fifth checkable item and almost nobody in this market publishes it: a saved answer from a named engine, on a named date, to the question a buyer would actually type, with the number of readings behind it. Ask every firm on your shortlist for one. The reason we can score nine agencies on disclosure is that we hold ourselves to the same test and publish the result when it goes against us, which is why this page can tell you that in 72 blind UAE readings taken on 30 October 2026 the engines named us exactly zero times. An agency that can hand you that artefact for your own category is doing the one piece of diligence the rest of this page cannot do for you.
How we know this
We read the assistants rather than guessing what they do. In our own audit of 1,260 saved answers from ChatGPT and Gemini across the United States, the United Kingdom and India, 82.0% of every citation landed on a site the business itself owned, and review directories took 0.7%. Counted as one domain per reading, 16,516 of 20,143.
That is the whole asymmetry: the pages you own are the pages an assistant quotes back to a buyer. See the dated readings and the method on our proof page.
Find out whether assistants name your business, on your own domain and your own buying questions.
